There are a few things in life I love a little more than others. Summer and baseball are waaaaay up there. There’s just something about summer that brings out the best in me and so far it’s been one of my most memorable. I recently had a chance to connect with Flow Water for a brand new summer campaign supporting body wellness and knew right away it was my jam. The kicker? Working alongside the world’s most bad-ass ballplayer on the planet, reigning MVP Josh Donaldson. A man with so much style and swagger but with such determination and professionalism in his craft. As a die-hard Blue Jays fan, he is by far the most engaging baseball player I’ve ever had the pleasure to watch.
It’s no secret how much I value the constant pursuit for a strong and healthy body. I’ve touched on my passion for fitness a dozen times throughout my posts but I’m not sure I’ve ever mentioned just how deep my relationship with health and fitness goes. I spent most of my adult life within the fitness industry managing clubs, spearheading personal training divisions and eventually as a fitness program advisor for high-end clientele. In a nutshell, the task of encouraging and supporting any person to take the plunge and become the strongest and healthiest version of themselves is simply something that comes easy to me. I believe in it, I live it and I do what I can to spread the feeling.
Okay so here’s the deal…Flow Water is running a contest called #MindBodyFlow (only available in Canada!). Like the brand itself, the campaign’s mission is to promote a healthy lifestyle and mindful hydration of the body. Go pick up a box of Flow Water at one of these shops and take a wicked shot showing how you stay in the flow on your summer days. Whether it’s burning up the running track like me, getting sporty, shopping the city streets Sundays, or just kicking back with friends having fun (photo doesn’t have to have water in it). Don’t forget to follow @FlowWater on Instagram and hashtag your post with #MindBodyFlow. The best part? The winners will receive a weekend getaway for you and three friends to gorgeous Hawaii. A retreat dedicated to body wellness and positivity.
With such an amazing summer a little halfway done, I really couldn’t think of a better way to top it off then to be jumping into the ocean in Hawaii with my closest friends. Good luck to you and hope to see you there!
